American Radiator-Standard Sanitary Corp. Quick Review

Our research indicates one can be reasonably assured that any furnace or boiler bearing the name "American Radiator®" was manufactured prior to 1950.

According to the American Standard History Timeline located on their website, 1950 was the year the company officially changed it's name to "American-Standard®" and using a logo that reflected as such. The two companies (American Radiator® & Standard Sanitary®) had been referring to themselves as "American-Standard®" since the late 1940's.   In later years, the hyphen was dropped.
